This feature is a game-changer for reaching influencers in regions where WhatsApp is the primary tool for communication rather than email. It also serves as the perfect alternative contact method when an influencer’s email is private, not listed, or simply unavailable on their profile.
Step 1: Connect your WhatsApp Account
Go to Integrations in IH: app.influencer-hero.com/integrations
Find Whatsapp → click Connect
Influencer Hero will open a pop-up asking you to scan the QR Code with the Whatsapp App.
Open WhatsApp on your primary phone
Tap your profile picture, then tap Linked devices → Link device
Point the camera of your main phone at the screen of the device you want to link and scan the QR code
Back to Influencer Hero, Click the Verify button below the QR Code
⚠️IMPORTANT: The QR code has a strict time limit of one minute and expires quickly. You must scan it immediately. If the code changes or expires before you scan, you will need to restart the process and reconnect to ensure a stable link.
Step 2: Ensure the influencer’s phone number and country are filled in the "Details" tab. This is where Whatsapp takes the number from, so it is crucial that you complete this step.
⚠️IMPORTANT: The phone number must include the correct Country Code without the plus symbol (e.g., 44 for UK, 1 for USA). If the country is missing or the code doesn't match the country set on their profiles, the system may return an error. If the phone number is no longer active, it will send another error message as well.
If you don't have a phone number on record from your initial emails, check the Analytics tab on their profiles or directly on the Influencer Finder. Our database often has contact information and social stats available there that might not be visible on the main profile view.
Step 3: Choose Your Outreach Method
Option A: Automate via Email Flows
You can now add WhatsApp as a dedicated step within your Email Flows. This allows you to create a multi-channel sequence that works on autopilot.
How it works: Simply click on "Add WhatsApp Message" step into your flow.
⚠️ If an influencer in your flow does not have a phone number on record, the system will automatically skip the WhatsApp step and move directly to the next step in the sequence.
💡PRO TIP: We recommend starting your flow with one or two emails. If you don't get a response, use WhatsApp as your second or third follow-up. Switching to a more personal channel often triggers a reply from influencers who ignore their crowded email inboxes.

Option B: Direct Messaging
If you are already in a conversation or have the influencer on your Campaign Board, you can message them directly for quick coordination.
Go to the influencer’s profile.
Click the dropdown menu next to the Send Email button.
Select Send WhatsApp Message.
A pop-up will appear where you can type your message.
💡PRO TIP: You can send Whatsapp Messages directly from the Campaign Board using the Bulk Tool, or set up an automation!
Step 4: Track your Conversations.
All messages sent via the platform will appear in the influencer's Activity Feed. You can see the timestamp and the content of the message directly within Influencer Hero, keeping all your communication history in one centralized place.
