Send contracts to influencers directly from Influencer Hero using DocuSign templates.

1) Install the DocuSign integration in Influencer Hero

  1. In Influencer Hero, go to Integrations

  2. Find DocuSign

  3. Click Connect

  4. Follow the on-screen steps to authorize DocuSign

Once connected, your DocuSign templates will be available inside Influencer Hero when sending contracts.

2) Choose how you want to set up your contract template

Option

What you do

A) Upload Influencer Hero template (fastest)

Upload our JSON template into Docusign, then only update highlighted (yellow) company details

B) Build your own DocuSign template

Create an Envelope Template in DocuSign and add merge fields manually

Option A (Recommended): Upload our ready-made DocuSign template JSON

This option gives you a template that already includes all Influencer Hero merge fields — you just update the highlighted (yellow) contract content (e.g., company name, address, legal entity info, etc.).

A1) Download the template JSON

Download our template file here

A2) Make sure “Template upload” is enabled in DocuSign (admin setting)

If you don’t see an Upload template button in DocuSign, your DocuSign account admin needs to enable it:

  1. Open DocuSign Admin

  2. Go to Sending Settings

  3. Scroll to the Templates section (near the bottom)

  4. Enable “Enable template upload”

  5. Click Save

If you’re not the DocuSign admin, ask your admin to enable this setting for your account.

A3) Upload the JSON template in DocuSign

  1. Go to Templates in your DocuSign account (Templates page)

  2. Hover over the Start button/icon

  3. Select Upload template

(sometimes it appears under Envelope Templates → Upload Template)

  4. Select the JSON file you downloaded (the Influencer Hero template)

  5. Upload and save

A4) Update your company-specific details (highlighted in yellow)

  1. Open the uploaded template in DocuSign

  2. Replace the yellow-highlighted placeholders (example: your company name, address, legal details, etc.)

  3. Click Save and Close

✅ Done — your template is now ready to send from Influencer Hero.

Option B: Create your own DocuSign Envelope Template (manual setup)

B1) Create an Envelope Template in DocuSign

  1. Go to TemplatesNewCreate Template (Envelope Template)

  2. Add documents

    • Select Create New Document, OR

    • Re-use an existing document you already have

  3. Add recipients (required)

    • Add at least one recipient

    • In Role, enter anything you want (example: Signer)

    • Leave Name and Email empty

(Influencer Hero will auto-fill these when you send)

  4. Add a message

    • Fill in the Email Subject and Email Message

    • This is what the influencer will see in the DocuSign email notification

  5. Envelope types

    • Usually: Independent Contractor Agreement

  6. Click Next

3) Supported merge fields (Tab Labels)

If you use Option A, these are already included in our template, but you can add more.

If you use Option B, use these tab labels to auto-fill influencer + deal data.
