What you can do with the Thanks.io integration
Send physical mail to influencers (postcards, handwritten notes, letters, giftcards)
Send to one influencer or in bulk from a Campaign Board
Keep your team workflow inside Influencer Hero, while Thanks.io handles printing + delivery
Before you start (requirements)
You’ll need:
A Thanks.io account (create one here)
The influencer’s postal address available (street, city, region, postcode, country) on the influencer deal page
Make sure your billing/payment method in ThanksIo is active.
If an influencer is missing an address, the send may fail or be skipped depending on your setup.
1) Connect Thanks.io in Influencer Hero
Go to Influencer Hero → Integrations
Find Thanks.io
Click Connect
Follow the prompts to log into ThanksIo
Click Save
Once connected, Mailing Lists from Thanks.io will appear inside Influencer Hero when sending direct mail.
2) Set up your Mailing List in Thanks.io
In Thanks.io, create (or pick) a Mailing List that represents what you want to send.
Typical setup checklist in Thanks.io:
Go to the Mailing list manager in ThanksIo (here) and click on "Add List"
Select "Manually Enter Addresses" when prompted about what type of list you want to create
Enter a list name
When prompted to add a first recipient you can click on "Cancel" (since Influencer Hero will be adding those recipients)
Next up, create a campaign to send the email
Navigate to the campaigns dashboard in ThanksIo (here)
Click on "Add a new Campaign Action"
Select your newly created mailing list (from the step above) in the "Select A Mailing List" dropdown
Fill in all the fields as per your preferences (email template, message template, etc..). These fields will determine how your final mail will look like.
This is also where you decide
Set the field "Select Sending Preferences" to "Days After Added" (or "Evenflow Daily limit" if your prefer).
Click on "Save"
You can create different mailing lists/campaigns for different use-cases (e.g., “VIP Thank You”, “Follow-up Note”, “Giftcard Reward”).
3) Send direct mail from Influencer Hero
You can send direct mail from either:
the Influencer page (single send), or
the Bulk Tool in a Campaign Board (bulk send)
A dealflow Rule (e.g. If influencer posted -> Send postcard)
Option A — How to Send postcards via the Bulk Tool
Go to your Campaign Board
Click Open Bulk Tool
Select the influencers you want to send mail to
In Select bulk action, choose Send Direct Mail
In the popup, choose your the Mailing List that you created in ThanksIo
Click Save
That’s it — Influencer Hero sends the influencer details to Thanks.io and triggers the send.
Option B — Send from an Influencer page (single send)
Open the influencer’s profile / deal page
Click the actions menu
Choose Send Direct Mail
Pick a Mailing List
Click Save
In both those options, Influencer Hero adds the details of the influencer to the mailing list in ThanksIo. The campaign which you've set up on top of that mailing list will make that the mail will be sent to the influencer.
You can check that everything is working well by sending a test mail, then making sure that the influencer was added to the mailing list in ThanksIo, and then immediately deleting the influencer (you usually have a few hours to delete the recipient from the mailing list before the mail goes out).
Common issues & quick fixes
“I don’t see any Mailing Lists”
Make sure you’ve created at least one Mailing List in Thanks.io
Confirm you connected the correct Thanks.io workspace/account
Reconnect the integration (disconnect → connect again) to refresh access
“Send failed / influencer didn’t receive anything”
Check the influencer has a complete postal address (street, city, region, postcode, country)
Check your Thanks.io account has an active payment method / credits
Verify the Mailing List in Thanks.io is configured correctly
“Can I send without an address?”
For physical mail, you’ll generally need a postal address. If you don’t have it yet, collect it first (for example, during onboarding or after an influencer agrees to collaborate).
You can now send handwritten mail and giftcards to influencers directly from Influencer Hero using Thanks.io — either individually or in bulk.
