1) Connect Asana in Influencer Hero

  1. In Influencer Hero, go to Integrations

  2. Find Asana and click Connect

  3. You'll be redirected to Asana — log in and authorize Influencer Hero

  4. After authorization, you're sent back to Influencer Hero and the integration shows as Connected

Once connected, Influencer Hero can create tasks in any of your Asana projects automatically via Campaign Automation.

2) Create tasks automatically with Campaign Automation

The Asana integration works as a Campaign Automation action — tasks are created automatically when a deal matches your automation rules.

Step 1: Open Campaign Automation

  1. Open a Campaign Board

  2. Go to Campaign Automation

  3. Click Add Rule (or open an existing rule)

Step 2: Add the Asana action

  1. In the rule's Actions section, click Add Action

  2. Select AsanaCreate Asana Task

Step 3: Configure the task

Field

Description

Asana Project

The project where the task will be created. Search by name.

Task Name

The name of the task. The influencer's handle is appended automatically (e.g. "Follow up - @johndoe")

Assignee

(Optional) The Asana user to assign the task to. Search by name.

Task Notes

(Optional) Additional notes. Deal information is always appended automatically.

Step 4: Save and activate

  1. Click Save

  2. Enable the rule

From this point, every time a deal matches the rule conditions, a task is automatically created in your selected Asana project.

3) What's included in each task

Every task created by Influencer Hero includes the following information in the task notes:

  • Influencer handle

  • Platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

  • Follower count

  • Campaign name

  • Link to the deal in Influencer Hero

  • Profile URL

4) Disconnect Asana

  1. In Influencer Hero, go to Integrations

  2. Find Asana and click Disconnect

This revokes Influencer Hero's access to your Asana workspace.

Troubleshooting

Can't find my project in the dropdown

  • Make sure you're searching in the correct workspace — the integration connects to the first workspace in your Asana account

  • If the project was recently created, try refreshing the dropdown

  • Archived projects are not shown

Tasks are not being created

  1. Check that the Campaign Automation rule is active

  2. Verify the rule conditions match the deals you expect

  3. Confirm the Asana integration is still Connected in Integrations

  4. If disconnected, reconnect and re-save the automation rule

OAuth connection error

  1. Disconnect Asana in Influencer Hero (Integrations → Asana → Disconnect)

  2. Click Connect again and re-authorize in Asana

  3. If it persists, try a different browser or clear cookies

All done ✅
