Content Review Workflows

Request content from influencers and approve, decline, and iterate on submissions—all from the deal page.

Instead of chasing creators for content over email or DMs, you can now request, review, and approve influencer content pieces directly from Influencer Hero.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Make sure that the influencer has received and accepted the invitation to the creator dashboard before requesting content review!

How It Works

Step 1: Go to the influencer's deal page and click "Request Content", found below "Create Task".

Step 2: The influencer receives a Creator Hero notification asking them to provide their content pieces. They can submit it either as a direct file upload, or by sharing a Google Drive link—whichever is easier for them.

Step 3: Once the influencer submits their content, it appears with a Pending Review status, and you can review it directly from the deal page. From there, you can:

  • Approve it: the content is marked as approved and the submission is complete.

  • Request an edit: you can quickly flag common issues using pre-set reasons—wrong product shown, add discount code, caption needs changes, quality/lighting issues—or add your own custom comment. The influencer is then prompted to re-upload a new version based on your feedback.

Step 4: If you requested an edit, the influencer can re-submit based on your comments. This can go through multiple iterations until you're happy with the final content.

💡 PRO TIP: Use clear, specific comments when requesting an edit—this helps creators get it right faster and reduces the number of back-and-forth rounds needed.

Managing Content Review at Scale

If you're running larger campaigns with many influencers, you don't need to check each deal page individually. A centralized Content Review overview—similar to the Influencer Reviews page—shows you all pending submissions across every campaign in one place, so you always know what's waiting on your review.
