n8n is an automation tool that connects apps with each other. With the Influencer Hero node you can start n8n workflows when something happens in Influencer Hero, and add deals, sales and clicks to Influencer Hero from other tools.
The integration is available on every Influencer Hero plan. It works with n8n Cloud and with n8n you host yourself.
1. Get your n8n key
In Influencer Hero, go to Settings > Integrations.
Open n8n and click Generate key.
Copy the key.
Keep the key private. It gives n8n access to your Influencer Hero account. If it ever leaks, click Regenerate key. The old key stops working right away.
2. Add the Influencer Hero node in n8n
n8n Cloud
Add a node to your workflow and search for Influencer Hero. It is a verified node, so nothing needs to be installed.
n8n on your own server
Go to Settings > Community nodes, click Install and enter n8n-nodes-influencer-hero. After the install, search for Influencer Hero when adding a node.
3. Connect your account
Add an Influencer Hero node (or an Influencer Hero Trigger) to a workflow.
In the node, click Connect to Influencer Hero.
Paste your key and click Save. n8n tests the connection right away and shows a green check.
You only do this once. Every Influencer Hero node you add afterwards uses the same connection.
What you can do
Start a workflow when something happens in Influencer Hero
Use the Influencer Hero Trigger node and pick an event:

You can limit a trigger to one or more brands. Every event comes with the deal details (name, email, platform, board, stage and more), so you can use them in the next steps.
The trigger only works on an n8n instance that is reachable from the internet. n8n Cloud always is.
Send data to Influencer Hero
Use the Influencer Hero node and pick an action:

Deal: Create | Adds an influencer to a board as a new deal. Turn on Create Collaboration if you also want to track clicks and sales for them. |
Deal: Get | Finds a deal by deal ID or by influencer handle. Turn on Include Collaborations to also get codes, links, clicks and sales. |
Referral: Register | Adds an order to an influencer collaboration, so it counts for sales and commission. |
Click: Register | Adds link clicks to an influencer collaboration. |
Influencer: Identify | Checks a list of customer emails and finds which ones belong to influencers. Matches show up under Your Customers. |
Use it with AI agents
The Influencer Hero node also works as a tool for the n8n AI Agent node. For example, an agent can look up a deal when you ask "Which board is @handle on?".
Good to know
Clicks add up. Register a Click adds the number you send on top of the current total. Send only new clicks, not a running total.
Orders are not counted twice. Register a Referral ignores an order ID it has already seen for the same order platform. Keep the Order Platform name the same for every order of a store.
Clicks and referrals need a collaboration. Create the deal with Create Collaboration turned on, or create the collaboration in Influencer Hero first.
Limits. Each account can make up to 120 requests per minute. Above that, the node fails with a "429" error. Turn on Retry On Fail in the node settings if your workflow sends many requests at once.
Disconnect n8n
In Settings > Integrations, find n8n under your connected integrations and click Uninstall. The key stops working, and triggers that n8n registered are removed. You can connect again at any time by generating a new key.
Common questions
The connection test fails.
Check that you pasted the whole key and that it was not regenerated in the meantime. Generate a new key and update the credential in n8n.
My trigger never fires.
Make sure the workflow is published (active) in n8n. Test triggers on a workflow that is not published do not receive events. If you run n8n on your own server, it must be reachable from the internet.
I do not see the n8n card in Influencer Hero.
Only account admins can generate the key. Ask an admin of your account.
Where can I see which triggers are registered?
Triggers registered by n8n are managed by n8n. Publish or unpublish the workflow in n8n to add or remove them.
