With the Influencer Hero (IH) Slack integration, your team can get the right updates in the right Slack channels - so nothing gets missed.

What you’ll get notified about

Notification type

What you’ll see in Slack

Influencer Replies

Influencer handle + follower count, campaign name, email subject, and a short preview of the reply.

Influencer Posts

Alert when an influencer posts about your brand (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). Includes post type (story/feed/etc.), influencer info, and campaign.

Product Sent

Notification when products are shipped to an influencer. Includes items shipped (quantity + variant) and influencer details.

Influencer Orders

Notification when an influencer generates a sale. Shows order name, revenue, commission amount, and discount codes used.

Every message is formatted nicely and includes:

  • Influencer profile picture

  • Handle + follower count

  • Campaign name

  • Quick buttons like View Deal and Open Profile

How to set it up (2 minutes)

Step 1 — Connect Slack

  1. Go to Integrations in IH: app.influencer-hero.com/integrations

  2. Find Slack → click Connect

  3. Slack will open a page asking you to allow access → click Allow

  4. You’ll be sent back to IH and your Slack connection will be active

If Slack says you don’t have permission to install apps, ask your Slack workspace admin/owner to approve it.

Step 2 — Choose which channel gets which notifications

In the Slack settings inside IH, select a Slack channel for each notification type:

  • Influencer Replies → channel

  • Influencer Posts → channel

  • Product Sent → channel

  • Influencer Orders → channel

✅ You can send each type to a different channel (for example: replies to #influencer-inbox, orders to #revenue).

Sending to private Slack channels

You can send notifications to private channels—Slack just requires that the Influencer Hero app is added to that private channel first.

Add the app to a private channel

  1. Open the private Slack channel

  2. In the message box, type: /invite @influencer-hero

  3. Press Enter

Once the app is invited, notifications can appear there.

If you selected a private channel in IH but nothing shows up in Slack, this is almost always the reason.

Managing or removing the integration

Change channels anytime

Go back to app.influencer-hero.com/integrationsSlack → update the channel selections.

Disconnect Slack

Go to app.influencer-hero.com/integrationsSlackDisconnect.

What happens if the Slack app is uninstalled?

If the Slack app is removed, IH automatically stops sending notifications and cleans everything up behind the scenes—no extra steps needed.

Troubleshooting

I connected Slack but I’m not getting notifications

  • Double-check you selected a channel for the notification type in IH

  • Make sure the app is in the Slack channel (especially private channels: /invite @influencer-hero)

  • Try sending notifications to a public channel first to confirm it’s working

Only some notification types are coming through

  • Each notification type has its own channel setting—confirm each one is set

I can’t connect Slack

  • This usually means your Slack workspace requires admin approval for app installs. Ask your Slack admin/owner to approve the installation.
