Connect Influencer Hero with your Square store to create unique affiliate links for your influencers, and automatically sync clicks + sales back into your Influencer Hero CRM for performance tracking and reporting

What you can do with the Square integration

  • Create trackable product / collection / landing-page links for influencers from Influencer Hero

  • Track clicks + sales inside Influencer Hero

  • Use the data to report on performance and (optionally) calculate influencer payouts/commissions

Before you start you’ll need

  • GoAffPro connected to Influencer Hero (helpdesk guide)

  • Admin access to your Square account (to install/authorize an app)

Step 1 — Connect GoAffPro in Influencer Hero (if you haven’t yet)

  1. In Influencer Hero, go to Integrations: https://app.influencer-hero.com/integrations

  2. Find GoAffPro → click Connect

  3. Paste your GoAffPro access token / API key → click Connect (helpdesk guide)

Note: Influencer Hero has an official partnership with GoAffPro for integration purposes. If you purchased GoAffPro specifically to use with Influencer Hero, please contact your Influencer Hero account manager to arrange a subscription reimbursement.

Step 2 — Connect your Square store (install the Square app)

You can connect Square in either of these ways:

Method A (recommended) — Install from Square App Marketplace

  1. Open the Square marketplace listing: GoAffPro for Square

  2. Click Get app / Install

  3. Sign in to Square and Allow access when prompted

  4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the connection

Method B — Start from the GoAffPro install page

  1. Open: Install on Square

  2. Sign up / log in and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your Square store

Step 3 — Finish setup in GoAffPro

Once installed/authorized:

  1. Log in (or sign up) to your GoAffPro merchant account

  2. Complete any remaining on-screen “next steps” for Square (store connection / verification)

Step 4 — Create tracking links (and discount codes) for influencers in Influencer Hero

After Square is connected:

  1. Open the influencer’s page in Influencer Hero

  2. Create a tracking link and paste the Square URL you want them to promote (product, category/collection, landing page)

  3. Influencer Hero will generate a trackable link

  4. Share that link with your influencer

Optional: If you also want coupon-based tracking, enable coupon features in GoAffPro and create/assign codes for your influencers.

If you use Square Checkout (important)

If your store uses Square Checkout flows, enable the Square Checkout integration:

  1. In GoAffPro, go to Settings → Integrations

  2. Find Square Checkout → click Setup

  3. Log into Square → click Allow

Troubleshooting

App installed, but no tracking data appears

  • Confirm the Square app is still installed/authorized for the correct Square account/location

  • Confirm the Square store connection steps are fully completed in your GoAffPro dashboard

  • If you use Square Checkout, make sure the Square Checkout integration is enabled (section above)

  • If you recently changed coupon settings, you may need to regenerate/update coupons depending on your setup
