You can create a discount code and custom link for each influencer to track their referrals, sales, clicks, and commissions.
If you are a Shopify user, follow the steps below. Otherwise, refer to this article to create UTM links for tracking clicks and sales accurately!
Step 1: Open the influencer's deal page in the CRM through the respective dealflow or the search feature on the left side of the platform.
Step 2: Scroll down to find the "Collaboration" box on the left side of the deal page.
Step 3: Click on the grey pencil icon to edit the commission percentage, discount code, custom link, and custom link target.
Commission Percentage: Set the percentage the influencer earns per sale through their link or code, typically 10%-20%. Commissions are tracked automatically and added to the influencer's balance in the CRM.
Custom Link: Create a custom link using the influencer's username or name (e.g., '/brian') to direct traffic to your website. The link is automatically generated in your store for all connected domains in Shopify.
Custom Link Target: Specify a specific page on your website where the custom link should lead, e.g., '/products/blue-jeans.' Leave it blank or enter '/' to direct to your landing page.
For discount codes, you have two options:
a) Set up a manual code for each influencer, which can be used store-wide.
b) Create affiliate groups with different rules for each discount code. For example:
Amount off products: discount a specific product or collection
Amount off order: discount the total order, no matter the product selected
Buy X get Y: discount specific products based on the customer's choice

Option a:
Simply type in the discount code name and the percentage. Again, this code can be applied throughout the whole online store.
Save changes.
Option b:
To create an affiliate group, first go to "Other Tools" → "Affiliate Groups" and then click on "Create Affiliate Group"
Choose the discount type according to your needs.
Give the affiliate group a name so you can spot it easily later on, and select all the rules that apply.
Create the affiliate group and go back to the influencer's deal page.
Back in the collaboration panel, select "Affiliate Group", give the code for this influencer a name and then choose the right affiliate group, so it can follow those rules when applied to an order.
Save changes.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Only affiliate groups created through IH are visible on the platform. If you already have existing affiliate groups on Shopify and want to use them, you will have to redo them through IH.
The discount code and custom link are now active in your e-commerce backend. The influencer will receive their agreed commission for each purchase made using their code (if a commission value greater than 0% is set). You can track all sales, referrals, clicks, commissions, and balances in the CRM.
