Auto-Rotating Leaked Discount Codes

Automatically catch discount codes that leak onto coupon sites, and optionally have them rotated without lifting a finger.

Written by Bobby

Influencer discount codes sometimes end up leaked on public coupon sites, where regular customers (not your influencers) start using them. This inflates the commission you owe on sales that had nothing to do with the influencer, and normally means manually monitoring coupon sites and updating codes yourself.

Influencer Hero now does this monitoring for you—and can even handle the fix automatically.

Leak detection is on by default for every account, with nothing to set up. Influencer Hero continuously scans coupon sites for your active discount codes. When a leaked code is found, a task is created on the influencer's deal page letting you know the code has leaked and needs attention, along with which site it was found on.

This gives you the choice to review and update the code yourself, or take it a step further with automatic rotation.

To set this up, go to Settings > Brand, and enable Auto-Rotate Leaked Discount Codes.

Once enabled, whenever a discount code is found leaked on a coupon site:

  • The code is automatically rotated to a new one—usually within the same day it was found, minimizing how much damage is done before it's fixed.

  • The influencer automatically receives an email notification letting them know their code has changed, and what their new code is.

  • Instead of a task, a note is added to the deal page confirming what happened and which site the leak was found on, so you still have a record without needing to act on it.

💡 PRO TIP: If you're processing a high volume of orders and codes leak often, Auto-Rotate can save significant time—instead of manually checking a separate coupon-monitoring tool every week and updating codes one by one, the whole cycle (detect → rotate → notify) happens automatically the same day.
