Measuring the impact of your influencer marketing campaign is crucial to trace your next steps, making reports key elements of influencer marketing. However, it can be challenging to manually gather all the data and build a report from scratch.
Luckily, Influencer Hero offers an automated reporting tool which will provide you with key insights on product cost, ROI, content KPIs and way more!
Check this quick guide to learn all about our reporting tool to get the most out of it!
How to Generate Reports
Step 1: In the left menu, click on "Reporting".
Step 2: Select the right filters for the report you wish to generate:
Timeframe
Campaigns
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Reports are automatically generated based on campaign board information. This way, it even includes profiles that came from other campaigns or that were custom uploaded.
If you wish to generate a report that's solely based on people you reached out to through Influencer Hero:
Click the three dots in the top right corner
Choose "Report by outreach".
This way, you will be able to filter by the campaign initially used to contact the influencer, regardless of which board they have been moved to since.
Step 3: Analyze the analytics provided by the report:
📊 Overall:
Main campaign KPIs, related to onboarding rates, social media performance and sales.
When a date is selected, all the data in the report will be especifically based on activity that happened throughout that period.
This means that the top funnel shows:
Contacted: Number of influencers who were reached out to during the selected period
Responded: Number of influencers who replied during the selected period, regardless of when they were first contacted
Onboarded: Number of influencers who agreed to collaborate, regardless of when they were contacted or replied for the first time.
⚠️ An influencer counts as "onboarded" when:A product has been sent to them (Shopify users)
Their post tracker has been enabled
A code and/or custom link has been created for them
Posted: Number of influencers who posted for the first time during the selected period.
⚠️ If you want to see everyone who posted during this period, no matter whether it was their first time or not, look for the Influencers That Posted KPI in the UGC tab.
💡 PRO TIP: Use the Top Performing Influencers list to identify what influencers are performing for you (whether in UGC or sales terms) to continue developing relationships with them and increase performance!
Invite them to seasonality campaigns, make them brand ambassadors, offer new products—the more exposure from the same account, the better!
You can also use these profiles as Lookalikes for new searches.
📊 UGC:
Dedicated to content KPIs, to understand what type of post or platform performs best for your campaign.
📊 Social Listening:
Also for content KPIs but the difference is that these posts are from followers and customers tagging you online, not from the influencers that you are working with on Influencer Hero.
💡 PRO TIP: If you see a post that you like, look them up in the Influencer Finder and try reaching out to that person—they are already engaged with your brand and willing to post about it!
📊 ROI:
Perhaps the most crucial tab of the report, where you can understand your return on investment and all the major KPIs, and evaluate campaign performance.
This tab also shows your list of Top Products, which were the most purchased through influencers links and codes!
💡 PRO TIP: You can also see exactly what sale each influencer made directly in their deal page, in the Affiliates tab.
This will help you understand what products matched with their audience—keep that in mind for future opportunities!
📊 Email:
Since a big part of running influencer campaigns is outreach and effectively communicating with influencers, this tab will help you understand email performance, spam complaints, unsubscribe rate and more.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Enable the open-rate tracker in your email flow editor to be able to see this KPI in the report.
📊 Payments:
Indicates the worth of all the payments processed throughout the selected time period.
📊 Products:
This section is currently only available for Shopify users.
The first graph shows the amount of products sent and the total cost of products sent during the desired time period. This graph allows filtering on a monthly or weekly basis.
Then, the tool provides a list of the products sent. You can order the list according to product cost, total amount of product sent and total product cost.
💡 PRO TIP: Use this list to your advantage as well! It gives you great insights on the influencers' top picks, which you can use for business development: analyzing this choices and how you can have more of these likeable products, creating a best-seller section in your online store, and many more ideas!
